An interactive dashboard tracking UC and CSU enrollment rates for all 28 high schools in the Oakland Unified School District, broken down by the seven OUSD board districts across the 2021–2025 cycles. Click any board district to expand its schools; click any school or map point for per-school trends, rates, and detailed enrollment metrics.
Source data is the University of California's "Admissions by Source School" reporting series, which publishes per-high-school counts of applicants, admits, and enrollees for each entering UC class. Years included: 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025. We pulled the OUSD subset, joined each school to its OUSD board district, and computed the per-school UC enrollment rate (enrolled freshmen as a share of graduating seniors). CSU enrollment is layered alongside for the same school-years using comparable system-published rosters.
The left panel groups all 28 schools under their seven OUSD board districts — each row shows the district's 5-year trend in college-going rate alongside its school list. Click any district to expand; click any school or map point for the per-cycle breakdown. The map shades board-district boundaries and places a point at each high school's address; selecting either side of the interface (school list or map marker) cross-highlights the other.
Trend arrows on each school compare the most recent cycle (2025) to the four-year baseline. Schools are sorted within each district by current-year rate, descending. Per-school detail popups show the year-over-year enrollment count and rate alongside the district average for context.
We build school-by-school and precinct-by-precinct dashboards for school boards, education advocacy groups, and bond / parcel-tax campaigns. Most engagements start with a 20-minute scoping call.
