A live dashboard for the Acalanes Union High School District's June 2025 Measure T parcel tax. Switch between Yes %, Measure T turnout, and 2024 Trump share base layers; toggle a voter-density overlay; click any precinct or city for the underlying numbers. All 98 district precincts, joined to Contra Costa County's precinct geometry.
The vote totals are the certified precinct-level export from Contra Costa County Elections (Measure T = contest 2286). Every precinct that appeared on the official return for Acalanes UHSD Measure T is included — 98 precincts in total, covering Lafayette, Orinda, Moraga, parts of Walnut Creek and Alamo, and the smaller boundary precincts that split into the district. Each precinct is joined to Contra Costa County's precinct geometry on the statewide redistricting precinct code (e.g. LFET101, ORDA801) at 100%.
The dashboard also carries three Nov 2024 data sources joined on the same precinct codes, surfaced in every popup and as toggleable base layers. Prop 2 (contest 2079) is California's Bonds for Public School and Community College Facilities measure — $10 billion in general obligation bonds for K–12 and community-college facility repair, upgrades, and construction. It's the most direct 2024 analog to a local school measure. Nov 2024 Presidential (contest 2070) supplies precinct-level Trump share of total votes cast and Nov 2024 turnout. Coverage on both: 85–86 precincts of 98 (the few unmatched are tiny boundary precincts that didn't appear on the countywide returns).
Age 65+ is the share of each precinct's registered voters who are 65 or older, lifted from the prior Lafayette Measure H dashboard data — coverage is partial (~22 precincts, Lafayette / Orinda heavy). The Schools overlay marks the five Acalanes UHSD high-school campuses (Acalanes, Campolindo, Las Lomas, Miramonte, Del Oro).
The default Yes-% layer uses a sequential purple ramp (color-blind safe, single hue). Lower Yes shares fade to white so higher-supporting precincts visually stand out; the 66.67% supermajority threshold is marked on the legend. The Trump, Prop 2, and Prop 50 layers each shade precincts by their deviation from the Contra Costa county average in percentage points, on diverging palettes — Trump uses blue-vs-red (below vs above county R lean), Prop 2 and Prop 50 use orange-vs-purple. The county average for each contest is shown in the legend caption. The voter-density overlay sizes a circle at each precinct centroid by registered voters; the schools overlay drops markers at the five Acalanes UHSD campuses.
City rollups in the side panel sum Yes / No / registered / ballots across each city's precincts, sorted by total vote weight. Popups show Yes / No / Measure T turnout, then the 2024 analog (Prop 2, Trump, and Prop 50 if available), then a separate demographic line (age 65+).
